  • DA review (initial review for completeness and adequacy)

  • SEE review (more detailed assessment of information supplied, critical analysis of gaps in information supplied)

  • BAR Review – Biodiversity Assessment Report review. The point at which a developer seeks to avoid entry to the Biodiversity Offset Scheme (BOS)

  • BDAR review – Biodiversity Development Assessment Report review. Analysis of the adequacy and completeness of the BDAR, including review of GIS files used in determining the assessment. 

  • Archaeological Assessment review – assessing adequacy of heritage studies, including legislated due diligence analysis of project impacts. 

  • Training Council planning staff in legislated Biodiversity and Archaeological assessment requirements.

  • SSD – Renewable energy project review. Specifically in relation to renewable energy projects which have been elevated beyond Council review to State Significant Development status. Analysis of the appropriateness of the proposed SEARS and the adequacy of the Environmental impact Statements provided for Departmental review with a view to protecting Council interests (particularly in relation to Biodiversity and Heritage)
